In the past, getting a ceramic restoration, like a crown, required two visits. On the first visit we prepped the tooth, took impressions of your tooth, sent the mold to a lab and placed a temporary crown. Then we waited for the lab to send us the final restoration. On the second visit, we removed the temporary and seated the permanent crown. What a hassle.

No more. CEREC has changed the way we create and seat ceramic restorations, including crowns, onlays and veneers.

This amazing technology takes a digital image of your tooth and then mills a restoration from solid ceramic block in just a few minutes. The restoration is custom-made to fit precisely on your tooth.

As soon as the restoration is complete, we can permanently place it on your tooth. In one easy, convenient, and comfortable visit.
